Manya is a South Indian actress and movie star. Manya started her film career in the Telugu movie industry and quickly captivated a large following. Her popularity then expanded into Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil movies. In late 1998, she was introduced to Malayalam films by famous director Lohithadas where she acted in the smash hit Joker opposite Dileep. The success of the movie, led to a series of more Malayalam movies and credibility of doing films outside of her mother language TELUGUManya is married to Satya Patel, an NRI who is the vice president of Swiss Re, U.S.A.
Manya has acted in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada movies. Her Malayalam debut film was Joker (2000) by Lohithadas. Rakshasa Rajav (2001), Kunjikkoonan (2002), Swapnakoodu (2003), Aparichithan (2004), and Unnai Kan Theduthe (2009) are some of her Malayalam films.
Manya was seen opposite superstar Mammootty in Aparichithan (2004), a story about some college girls who meet a stranger on a trip. In Unnai Kan Theduthe, she played a city girl Sindhu who falls in love with a villager Rudra.
